Neiman Marcus Celebrates STLFW

STLFW is in full swing. Last night held the Neiman Marcus Fashion Chat and Presentation, which benefited COCA where over $6,000 was raised for the center. The event consisted of light bites, flowing prosecco (if you can’t tell, it’s a favorite) and hot fall fashion. New friends were made and good times were had.

Neiman Marcus’ Corporate Public Relations Manager, Chuck Steelman, led accessory designer Lisa Freede, Frank & Eileen’s Creative Director Audrey McLoghlin, designer Jonathan Simkhai in a discussion about their fall collections while they graced the runway. Attendees were rewarded for their stellar social media posts on Instagram where local fashion bloggers dominated the prizes- Brittany Browers, June Ann D’Angelo, Angie Lewis and Julia Christensen just to name a few.

The layered jewels of Lisa Freede hit the runway first, having been worn by celebrities including Rihanna. The statement pieces are great additions to any look and especially when you need that extra attention. Next up was Frank & Eileen, where McLoghlin discussed their signature crinkled shirt look. Don’t get out the iron just yet! Lastly, Jonathan Simkhai’s fall ready-to-wear collection closed down the runway with textured, well-crafted pieces including some of my favorite looks of the night- a Rue Du Simkhai tee shirt and plaid separates.

Up next is the STLFW VIP Blogger Lounge presented by Well Dressed Midwest tonight at Scape American Bistro. The blogger lounge last season was the first event I ever attended as a blogger, so I’m excited to go back this season. 25 fashion and lifestyle brands plus 100 Midwest fashion, lifestyle, family, fitness and food bloggers will be in attendance to connect and celebrate great local brands, like Blissoma Natural Body Care, Cameo de Bore, Bronx Diba, Dimvaloo, Glik’s, Lookie Lou, Suzanne Lay, The Clover, and Vogue Footwear. Can’t wait!
