Kids in America

What’s a better way to kick off a weekend than shopping and cocktails? Friday night Blue Bird Boutique held a party in their store to celebrate Kids in America, their summer lookbook. The party was complete with music, food, adult bevys and a body bar. I enjoyed wandering through the shop, where I fell in love with just about everything.

Blue Bird Boutique, recently the winner of two St. Louis Magazine A-List Awards, is a year old shop in The Loop that sells weird clothes for weird people. Owner, Anna Friss, features her own designs in conjunction with other local designers and artists.  Not only does Blue Bird carry eclectic pieces, but Friss hand makes goods like Southwestern-style leather and feathered camera straps. Really one-of-a-kind pieces which makes Blue Bird Boutique a St. Louis favorite.

BLUE BIRD FAVES

Jean and floral insert shorts, backless jumpsuit, funky sunnies and dreamy dream catchers.

Body by India’s World held an in–store body bar. India Hearn, owner of Body by India’s World, gave guests a luxurious body scrub treatment followed up with moisturizing body butter. My hands are still smooth. Body by India’s World is now selling goods at Blue Bird.

Make your way down to The Loop and be sure to stop by Blue Bird Boutique- where the baddest bishes in St. Louis shop.

Stay weird! x
