Summer Sweetness

All the sweet perks of summer converged on Thursday nights during the RBar Patio Party at Ruth’s Chris Clayton with ALIVE Magazine– great music by DJ TrashTalk, delicious food, cool drinks and wonderful friends. I went to the Patio Party expecting a good time but left having made unforgettable connections and having an absolutely amazing time, though admittedly it made getting up Friday morning a bit harder.

ALIVE Magazine invited their readers to kick off patio season in style.  Specialty Grey Goose cocktails and Kräftigs were flowing as partygoers snacked on mouthwatering appetizers. I tried items off Ruth’s Chris new Sizzle, Swizzle, Swirl menu, the best of Ruth’s Chris Steak House food and drinks or just $7, Monday through Friday. Such a steal! The Crab BLT (which ended up on my dress), Seared Ahi Tuna and Spicy Lobster were otherworldly. I’m still craving them.

I was so happy that I could share the evening with such great friends and fellow bloggers. Scott Thomas, of, gave me some great blogging ideas, so stay tuned! Hint: Beard Beer. Talking with Scott, I came to a conclusion- Weird Culture needs to be weirder and I’ve got a few ideas up my sleeve.
