Turnt Up Wedding Wear

Wedding season is here and so are the same old floral dresses and basic heels. I dare you to turn up your wedding attire this season.

I’m guilty of the find-a-cute-dress-for-a-wedding habit. Or, I was.  If I had a wedding coming up, I would search the dress categories and that one only. I became awfully bored of it and decided to try something new. I’m not saying you shouldn’t wear that sassy dress to your next event. But, try to go outside the box and expand your horizons with a sexy pantsuit or crop top skirt combo. Better yet, wear that dress but add a kimono!

This wedding season, I started out with the wide-legged, baby blue Jaden Jumpsuit made by Nasty Gal. With a deep-v neckline and sheer pants to show off those legs, the front is sexy but not too off putting. The lattice strapped back is what got me though. Back detail. Swoon!

I didn’t stop there though. I accessorized with a simple sterling silver collar necklace from H&M, a skull-studded bracelet from UO and strappy platform sandals by MIA to really set the 70s look.

I like to buy key pieces and accessorize with differently to create new looks but recycle my favorites, so don’t be surprised if you see this jumpsuit again. I want to see your turnt up event looks! Tweet them to @lauraheying.

To a very turnt up, stylish wedding season. Cheers! x
